Spoiler alert, it's worth it!
Charming ambiance, perfect location! Our stay seemed like a lovely escape, with friendly staff ensuring every need was met. Spacious, well-furnished room equipped with a Nespresso machine was a delight. Breakfast options were excellent, especially with made-to-order omelettes. The kiosk in the park opposite was an unexpected treat.

The hotel was in a very central location to the historical areas of the city. Moreover, it's close enough to major transport routes and touristic spots, a quiet and safe plaza, and lots of shops, the metro and walking to the heart of Lisbon.

The breakfast was better value (5 euros) than eating out. The location was excellent as it was near all the main areas of interest and not far from an Aerobus pick up point. The staff were friendly and spoke English.A good all round base for exploring Lisbon.
It could be a little noisy in the morning if facing the front. Probably needed double glazing.

Everything was excellent during 6 days, loved its favourable and gorgeous location near the square and the cafe over the road and the city center.
The room had quite bad views.

charming boutique stay near public parks and main attractions
I enjoyed my stay, as the hotel is just a few steps from the picturesque Jardim dos Sentidos. The breakfast was wonderful with a varied spread, made me want to linger longer with its inviting ambiance.

On our 6 week driving tour of Spain and Portugal it was definitely the most basic hotel we stayed in... Its clean and simple and we felt it was a little pricey compared to everywhere we stayed. The location is great and we were lucky enough to find free parking virtually on the doorstep.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and ours had a good outlook. The bathroom was a good size with enough space beside the sink to put all my bits and pieces. The water was always hot and the bath a good size for tall people! Everything was very clean and the staff always friendly and courteous.
The smaller pool table takes the euro but it needs attention as all the balls run to one end! I did inform a member of staff. The evening meal was just adequate but there were a couple of nights that I found it difficult to find a main course. I am vegetarian and was looking forward to fish dishes. They were mostly overcooked - I understand it is difficult to do mass cooking with fish as it should be cooked to order. I miss the fresh fruit and vegetables and am tired of seeing chips!

A good location when visiting Lisboa. A short walk to city centre, plus access to transport, buses, taxis, metro. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, simple hotel but full of charater. And, for jazz fans, a short walk across the park to The Hot Club de Portugal.
Could do with a little more redecoration in some rooms.

Particularly good and fantastic location in the central area, just off the Principe Real and the Avenida da Liberdade and the city centre.

Soundproofing needs serious consideration!!! Creaky floorboards are a major nuisance, disrupting what could otherwise be a peaceful experience. The limited room storage can leave you feeling cramped, especially in the bathroom!!!

The location is excellent and very close to the main tourist attraction places. The hotel is small, the room is cosy and decorated in Portugese style. The staff was very friendly. The balance of price and quality is great.
You have to be patient till the hot water comes. The isolation is poor, however not in the high season it is not noisy in the hotel. Additional costs for the breakfast.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent for all Lisbon sights, restaurants etc. Room service was good. Would definitely stay here again.
Mattresses were very hard. That suits me but may not suit others. Air conditioning unit was a bit "temperamental".

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, great value for money, nice little park in front, metro, bus and aerobus stop just 2 minutes away, rossio station 5 minutes away, botanical garden nearby.
Noise in the morning due to construction site close, difficult to get past the bed as it's very close to the wall.
